Details
The Cannabible is a monumental work that will form the base of marijuana identification in the future. King has dedicated his life to writing about and photographing cannabis. His passion permeates every page of the book. The introduction by Rob Clarke gives a very interesting insight into the origins of seed companies, the first strains that were made commercially available by them and the possible direction in which they will head. The Cannabible differs from books such as the Big Book of Buds because it has not been compiled with the help of cannabis seed companies but by a dedicated cannabis enthusiast with no hidden marketing and sales prerogatives. King details the taste, effect and look of numerous strains of cannabis, from some of the more famous e.g. Skunk No.1 to regional strains known to few e.g. Iggy and Mt. Shasta. The book is in no way a grow book and goes nowhere in telling you how or where to grow cannabis - a book can not and shouldn’t do everything. The Cannabible is an essential buy for anyone interested in learning more about seed companies and the differences between cannabis strains in terms of history, look, taste and effect.
